Silvanus Nwokocha Onyekwere Scholarship


John Godson Foundation invites qualified candidates to apply for the Silvanus Nwokocha Onyekwere Scholarship for students of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. John Godson Foundation was started by Hon. John Abraham Godson, the first black member of the Polish Parliament- who originally comes from Nigeria.


The Scholarship is dedicated to Hon. John Godson’s father - Sir Silvanus Nwokocha Onyekwere- a graduate of agriculture from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, for many decades, an Agricultural Science teacher, practitioner and secondary school principal. John Godson decided to establish the scholarship fund during his father’s life time in commemoration of his 81st birthday (December 7, 2015) and their golden jubilee wedding anniversary (December 20, 2015).

Qualifications

Semi-final or final year students of agriculture and veterinary medicine
Enterprising and hardworking
Seeking to work as a practitioner
A total of 4 scholarships shall be awarded.

Nneoma Chinyere Onyekwere Scholarship


John Godson Foundation invites qualified candidates to apply for the Nneoma Chinyere Onyekwere Scholarship for female students of education from Abia State University Uturu, Abia State. John Godson Foundation was started by Hon. John Abraham Godson, the first black member of the Polish Parliament - who originally comes from Nigeria.

The Scholarship is dedicated to Hon. John Godson’s mother - Nneoma Chinyere Onyekwere- a graduate of education (guidance and counseling) from the Abia State University (also graduated from WTC Umuahia and Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri), for many decades, a teacher, practitioner and primary school head mistress. John Godson decided to establish the scholarship fund during her mother’s life time in commemoration of his parent's golden jubilee wedding anniversary (December 20, 2015).
